Autoridades locales, departamentales y organizaciones de la ciudad de Canelones se reunieron ayer en EMAO para coordinar acciones preventivas frente al pron\u00f3stico de intensas lluvias asociadas al fen\u00f3meno clim\u00e1tico.<\/span><\/p>\n

El alcalde de Canelones, Am\u00e9rico Puga, convoc\u00f3 a autoridades departamentales, fuerzas vivas e instituciones de la ciudad para conformar un Comit\u00e9 Municipal de Emergencia, con el objetivo de coordinar recursos y respuestas ante posibles inundaciones y otros eventos clim\u00e1ticos.<\/span><\/p>\n

Durante el encuentro, distintas organizaciones manifestaron su disposici\u00f3n a colaborar con instalaciones, servicios y apoyo log\u00edstico en caso de ser necesario. El referente del Centro Coordinador de Emergencias Departamentales (CECOED), Bruno Pacheco, explic\u00f3 que el fen\u00f3meno conocido como \u2018S\u00faper Ni\u00f1o\u2019 se est\u00e1 consolidando y que podr\u00eda generar precipitaciones por encima de lo normal, adem\u00e1s de vientos fuertes y otros fen\u00f3menos meteorol\u00f3gicos adversos en los pr\u00f3ximos meses.<\/span><\/p>\n
